Realtors Make a Difference!
Volunteer committees with the Bloomington Board of Realtors recently made generous contributions to the community in which they work and live. The BBOR Toy Drive Committee collected more than $5,000 and were able to distribute toys, electronic group games, and new clothing to children that may otherwise have been forgotten. The Salvation Army received BBOR support at both the Kettle-Kickoff Event and with three-full days of Kettle Bell Ringing. The BBOR Food Drive Committee recently contributed $4,500 along with 50 bags filled with groceries for the Community Kitchen of Monroe County and the Owen County Food Bank. Funds collected for the Food Drive campaign included help from area restaurants including Uptown Café, Lennie’s, and Crazy Horse by sharing a % their sales.

Community Grants!
BBOR is pleased to be able to contribute to area charitable organizations again this year through their Community Grants efforts. A completed 2012 Grant Application must be received by May 15, 2012. Funds will be distributed in June 2012. Programs or projects should benefit housing, safety, health, or beautification activities.
