Greene County is home to Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area. At 8,000 acres, it is one of the most expansive Wetland Restoration sites in the country.

Each year, the area hosts the Sandhill Crane Marsh Madness event, marking the migration of sandhill cranes through Southern Indiana.

Over 150 feet above the landscape, the Tulip Trestle is a well-known architectural landmark, attracting photographers with its 2,000+ foot span.

Named in honor of Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene, the area is awash with history, which can be explored in depth at the Carnegie Heritage and Arts Center.
